The Southlake City Council is comprised of seven members elected yearly by the residents of Southlake. The Mayor is one of the members of the City Council. Elections for the Southlake City Council are held on the second Saturday of May each year.
The City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at Southlake Town Hall, 1400 Main Street.
Meetings start with a 5:00 p.m. work session, followed by the regular agenda. After the call to order, the Council usually goes into Executive Session for about 30 minutes. Members of the public are encouraged to attend Southlake City Council Meetings and may comment on items brought before the Council.
