Teen throngs have city thinking curfew

SOUTHLAKE -- Streets are backed up with motorists dropping off their children for the movies. Skateboarders fly by shoppers on sidewalks, while crowds of teens and pre-teens huddle, chatting away.

On Friday and Saturday nights, hundreds of middle school and high school students meet at Southlake Town Square. With easy access to restaurants, stores and entertainment, along with plenty of areas to stand around, there's no better place to 'chill,' area teenagers say.
